Got a new phone yesterday (samsung s21) and the amount of extra stuff I have to buy is f***ed. All it comes with is a usb-c to usb-c cable so I have to actually buy the plug socket myself and buy a usb-c to headphone jack so I can plug any headphones/aux in. These c***s are ripping us all off.
Also looking for this stuff on amazon now is like the wild west, no idea what's legit and what's gunna set my phone on fire
yeah they really ding you with the dongles lately

The simplicity of the alien world studio sets
looks so nice in HD
I was just thinking they should make a Star Trek game with 60’s aesthetics. It’d be hyper detailed like most AAA games with the sky, grass, and water on a planet all being beautifully rendered but the rocks, some of the foliage, and building structures will have the textures of an old set.

kind of like that new samurai game that was specifically trying to recreate the aesthetic of classic 50s and 60s kurosawa etc
i guess Bioshock and a few games were probably influenced by Metropolis too

Revolver is probably the most overrated of those revered Beatles albums. Dry song after another only made slightly worth it with "Tomorrow Never Knows"

dry how
dry how
Dry in this case is synonymous with unadventurous, I guess. Almost every song is as face value as it gets. The melodies will always be there for a Beatles record but the music is really, really uninspiring IMO

im assuming by "unadventurous" you mean compared to stuff youve heard that came after?
