Yeah when it comes to my 60’s records and experimentation I prefer either you go all the way with it (Trout Mask Replica), balance it (Velvet Underground & Nico) or don’t do it at all (Odessey And Oracle). This record is a bit all over the place and the whiplash can be frustrating. I hate calling art “pretentious” but I laughed out loud at the last couple tracks at how pretentious it was to go from a 1 minute pretty little acoustic instrumental that never goes anywhere to a 9 minute assault of random audio clips.

Nothing Man definitely got more replay value than that last Cauldron track for me
