The conclusion to the KTT2 FAM lists ends with the 1960s! This has been a long and sometimes arduous task, but has been a personal goal to have fully canon decade lists for FAM on KTT2.The regular rules will apply, though slightly altered. EP's are allowed as always. The maximum amount of albums allowed will remain at 70 (for the few psychos who I know are capable and willing to do 70 for this decade), but the minimum will be lowered to 40. That being said, 50 is strongly encouraged for a minimum, and 40 is only recommended if you can't concoct a 50 album list.I really liked the 70s group of voters and hope to get the same people on board for this one + one person who really wanted to participate + atl if he ever returns DUE DATE: NOVEMBER 30, 2022 (expect very few reminders until about halfway to due date, a mandatory halfway reminder, and more annoying weekly to daily reminders as we get closer to the due date)

Queen Victoria's great grandson with family ties to royalty across Europe fought in WW1 and was a genuinely innovative World War II hero who then went on to cataclysmically f*** up when he rushed The Partition and then also got embroiled in a pedo ring before the IRA blew him up alot of crazy s*** along the way

As someone who still ranks it above Loaded (which is great),
I’m this threads resident White Light/White Heat hater. It’s become a bit.

I always felt McCartney’s RAM basically invented modern indie rock/pop and I just discovered Death Cab For Cuties cover of my favorite song from It (Dear Boy) and damn does listening to that just reinforce that feeling.

Isn't it his self-titled debu that gets credit for that if anything I see RAM as a continuation of the over the top production and musical segues of Abbey Road

Nah not really. A couple songs on his debut people say influenced bedroom pop but RAM is the one I see the indie rock comparisons made with.

It’s great as it’s own thing and I respect it but I just don’t like most noise rock and really any of the stuff that record influenced (Sonic Youth especially) so naturally it wouldn’t fully connect with me. I think European Son is more interesting and experimental than anything on that album and the rest of the debut just has higher highs and significantly more variety and a better flow. Nico’s contributions also give it more flavor.

Im not a huge noise rock guy either. Strangely i think white light/white heat is actually more accessible than its reputation suggests...i dont really find it hard to listen to at all...its got strong tunes. And yea tvu&n is incredible too, waiting for the man is one of my favorite songs oat
