i loved it which i did not expect at all

I haven’t heard Igor yet but Flower Boy is my second favorite album of his behind Goblin. The rest of his work is all over the place for me. I was always more an Earl fan anyway.

liked it a lot. it prolly had minor pacing issues in the second half. The conflict could have also hit a little harder if Sciamma didn't use such huge time-gaps for the flash forwards imo. S bit like the fragmented ending if In the Mood for Love.

However, stunning cinematography with a dynamic camera that makes the sparseness of many of the actual movement feel energetic snd great color grading, which only enhances the melancholy due to the connectedness to water and the thematic implicatio s that stem from it.

The actresses (and editor) did a pretty great job creating lots of tension in the more static moments of the story until it all gets resolved at some point after 90 minutes.

I feel like I only watch good movies anymore. Maybe I don’t take enough chances.

A lot of ya'll don't f*** with Tame Impala and I'm honestly not that big on them myself. I just think think they're solid pop rock with some neat psychedelic flourishes. They are overrated by "normies" who think they're the second coming of Christ and they're not given enough credit by music "nerds". That being said I'm excited to revisit their albums in prep for the new one. I've been going back through The Smiths discography and its just fun.
