2010s thread was in May 2020 Feels both longer and not that long ago. It's so weird looking back at that list and group of voters. Some strange 1 time voters. The rare Sufi list, Mr Yeezy. I also somehow got every list in 2 months but COVID just hit and people had nothing to do so it made sense.

Yeah time is so weird lately

I’ve talked to plenty of people in the last couple years who’ve said the same thing. It’s a common phenomenon for people since covid to feel that their perception of time has gotten strange.

Well anyways it's the city's big iconic bridge and I just found out recently it was built by the Guinness family they built it when there was nothing on the other side except for bunch of land which they owned and they made it a toll bridge until it was paid off and then they sold it back to the city for exactly how much it cost to build. made a super exclusive sprawling gated community of mansions on this side called the British Properties that you weren't even allowed to live at unless you had a British passport and definitely weren't allowed near if you were Jewish or colored :pacspit: they threw the city's first synagogue right across the street from the entrance despite them. Beers s*** anyway.

Damn that's kinda f***ed. I went to the guinness factory in Dublin which was super interesting but there was no mention of any of that.

I think there's a time and a place for guinness, wouldn't get one on a sunny day but it hits just right on dark, rainy evening

My best friend in early high school (who's big brother went on to marry my sister) has parents straight from Dublin and Glasgow so unfortunately several of my first drunks were his dad's Guinness when we were like 13

thought I hated beer for 20 years because of it
