No I understand that they did a lot of good things for the country, I just wasn't letting it slide when you tried to say that war wasn't clearly good versus evil. No telling where Europe would be if Hitler happened without any of his negative traits.

I’m doing some character study rn and been noticing that, I believe most of PTA’s movies don’t have a clear antagonist that’s against the protagonist (main character) usually his main character is their own enemy.

PDL sorta has one with Philip Seymour Hoffman even though that’s not the main focal of the story
I can’t remember if Inherent vice had one? And I don’t believe The Master did either, PTA was even questioned about who the true Protagonist of that film is.
I think this is a dope element to his films though because he’s one of the best when it comes to character studies.Yes they remain fascinating because they're not as straightforward as that.
I was reading about Howard Hawks today and the relationship between Walter Brennan and Humphrey Bogart's characters in To Have and Have Not;
Harry's fraternal relationship with his first mate, Eddie, typifies the male "buddy" motif that appears in most Hawks movies. suzukiIts fun to make playlists to listen to and its fun to listen to full albums too. I probably use my spotify liked playlist a little too much tho just throw that s*** on shuffle
My liked songs playlist is a bit too unwieldly to just throw on shuffle, but you can narrow it down by genre tags now which is nice

I left because they invited that annoying dude Twitch in who wouldnt stop asking if I'm "into pedo s***" cause I didn't think PTA was co-signing pedophilia with Licorice Pizza like he did
I pretty much begged dude to agree to disagree so that we could remain civil but he wasn't having it. nobody else in the thread saw it like him but because I have the PTA avi he wouldn't stop harassing me so I had to block him which no big deal. But then they invited him into the kino chat section and all the sudden every third post was "this person replied to blocked user" which hurt my eyes and was annoying so I just left. what's the point of a private film section if you're going to invite in any annoying smooth brain a****** that doesn't know how to absorb art and let people live.
