    welsh british what's the difference

I've noticed both sides like to distinguish themselves from the other

I knew this Welsh guy and I would always forget and call him English and he'd be like "Dude, I'M WELSH"

Is a great album. Manages to be incredibly ugly and incredibly beautiful at the same time

Sucks how he also tarnished the name of a great band in metal, now the first thing people will see is "Scott Kelly terrorizes his family" I doubt will ever hear from him again but its now up to his family to make the change or try and work it out.

I did have Given To The Rising on earlier, good s***

Sounds like he's been dodging the band for 3 years too I'll always love the music but it definitely sours s***

At least we still have Henry Rollins

As soon as you said "I wonder what some other" my brain went to Guernica before I read it lol but that's about all I can think of atm. and his depiction definitely doesnt come across nearly as grim.

Hiroshima/Nagasaki is still a surreal thing, I don't think anyone could have imagined the destruction.. But a nuclear attack was inevitable and probably would have happened against us in a future attack to witness its power.

One of the craziest aspects of the 22-hour WW2 documentary I just watched was the fact that almost all the Japanese military dudes they interviewed admitted America basically had no choice but use the nuke because they were fully prepared to fight until the last Japanese person was dead they were actually low-key relieved when it got used because it gave the emperor solid enough reason to surrender that the rest of the country might actually accept it the propeganda was insanely strong in japan

A lot of the Japanese higher ups never wanted the war. It was all a product of extreme Japanese nationalism and the belief that they were superior. They straight up had to denounce their Emperor's "demigod" status when they surrendered.
