FellaI knew that one would be your favorite. Only one I didn’t add to my Rolling Stones playlist. My criteria for adding is just “would I mind listening to it again”.

a cliche for this thread but Exile is one of the albums that really takes a good marination to appreciate and sink in
I can actually see that. It’s not immediately interesting or catchy. I started it up again and the opening track does really hit hard the more you listen to it. I love his raspy vocals on it.

I get the appeal of rough around the edges jamming but not when most of it is indistinguishable. The songs that stand out are the slower ones and even those aren’t like top tier Stones. It’s all pleasant enough, not really a bad song. It’s just bloated and a little bland in parts.
