Broski what R&B album in say the last 30 years got that thick molasses production better than Voodoo ? And that's not mentioning D'Angelo's vocals.
You can look at some of those Grammy winners the past few decades and pick albums that are really overrated haha
Voodoo is very good but I like Baduizm and Brown Sugar more. Seeing Voodoo get such a disproportionate amount of love in contrast to those two drives me nuts.

sucks that Trey got hurt but it is what it is. Jimmy gets to play now

I tend to think most classics are property rated. I’d rather talk about what’s underrated.
dance punk is BACK
This sounds like it came out 20 years ago @Bizzle

U ever listen to john prine? Basically the only singer songwriter that i can say i LOVE. His first self titled album is amazing.
Honestly...if were talking critically...then the most underrated band ever is sublime imo. They get such a bad rep from critics and because of their "douche bag" fans. But 40 oz to freedom is a great record. And if u can get past the whole white guy doing reggae thing. Like i used to have the standard music snob opinion that sublime sucked. But imo they have a genuine respect and appreciation for the sound and pretty impeccable taste.
And then the most rewarding musical journey ive ever been on is getting into jamaican music the last few years. And besides the obvious toots, melodians, peter tosh samples, im still hearing sublime samples, like the other day i was listening to yellowman and i heard the sample from greatest hits.
But yea 40 oz, robbin the hood, s/t are all classics and theyd be my pick for most underrated band of the last 30 years.

My sister overplayed some Sublime when she was in her teens which naturally irritated me but I don't think they suck. Def got some cool songs iirc.
Sublime sucks ass. They aren't rated low enough.
You don't practice Santeria?
Mars Volta one of the most underrated bands. P4k s***ting on their best stuff convinced so many internet nerds that they suck.

Hey totally..and the hits get annoying after...what i got is peak douche-bag core. Would highly recommend 40oz to freedom if u can approach with an open mind

Everything after Frances got no love

Sublime’s first 2 albums were adored by critics

I have a friend that's into them. It's the vocals that put me off tbh, musically they sound pretty cool.

I doubt their target audience cares about the p4k scores but i agree they are a great band

I have not listened past Frances
but I stand by calling them underrated for their first 2 not getting enough love alone

Lotta ppl say the vocals are irritating but I always dug them

They arent as atrocious as something like Muse but still bad enough to make me not want to listen anymore
