if y’all have seen DBZ, watch these funny ass scenes from this episode of Gintama where they parody it
funniest s*** i’ve seen in a while at the end

Our new house came with fancy kitchen and laundry appliances, and our oven/microwave combo is wild. Like every other day we find out something else it can do that we had no idea micro/ovens were even capable of.
But i was just browsing the oven settings and i found something called "Sabbath Mode", and i laughed thinking to myself how it would be funny if this is a special setting just for Hasids so they can get around ortho-judaism's "not allowed to work" rule...
I looked it up, and that's literally what it is
Apparently its a feature on higher-end appliances from all major brands.
I knew Ortho-Jews have some wild loopholes to get around that law, but i had no clue there's programmed settings for it in everyday appliances
"Sabbath Mode" also sounds like a song that got cut from Jesus Is King
You didn't acknowledge when I posted this at you the other day
do you recognize who pinched that bass line for their own epic ballad
Who pinched it i dont know tel me

Yahweh is easily bamboozled, apparently

Lol, really tho.
Like i've heard of them employing (?) goys to prepare their meals for them on the sabbath and stuff, same as the cliche "using non-jews to push elevator buttons for them". But i really wanna read more in-depth about how the "sabbath mode" on various appliances to see how its implemented.
Like the one for ovens is actually kinda smart: it basically makes your oven stay on for 12+ hours, so they can turn on sabbath mode the night before and then bake something the bext day without pushing any buttons or whatever. But there are sabbath modes for all major appliances apparently, like stoves and washer/dryer.
S*** runs deep

I meant more iconic. That’s like an album cut compared to their other hits.

I guess but Rolling Stone gave it song of the year that year and I agreed iirc. Also already made their top 500 songs list. I know they're lame but still, it's not just a deep cut.
"During the initial recording sessions for the album in 2007 in Fez, Morocco, the band wrote the song with producers Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois within a few hours. Together, they recorded the song in a single take; Eno called the song's recording "the most amazing studio experience he's ever had". According to him and Lanois, the track is the closest the band came to realising their original concept for the album of writing "future hymns"
Eno knows

You’re talking about like 3 mins in, right?
You’re talking about like 3 mins in, right?
Nah when the bass comes in which takes like 50 seconds. Same bass line with an extra dose of Adam's pathos added to it.
