Yo one state Ill really never understand is Michigan
they literally get f***ed by everyone Dem and GOP but aren't they still a working class state ? Like certain parts of Detroit are literally a landfill, crazy covid restrictions, tons of businesses closed etc..

Then you have the upper peninsula where my grandparents live, which almost feels like its own tiny state

That would be ideal but politics have turned into teams so its hard to see it work.
Was just telling someone if the GOP goes back to a true "establishment" Republican I would probably vote Dem or skip it altogether.
