Didn't hear rap till I moved off the farm right before high school so it was even more wild to me than it was to the suburban kids Metallica and Sabbath clicked immediately a few years into high school but it wasn't till White Stripes came along at got me really interested in rock. Probably just cause I was actually making enough to afford magazines and books to research which CDs to buy finally

I still just had to listen to my parents music at ten (which was usually fine). Big Willy Style and Puff Daddy & The Family wasn't till a few years later.
