    Awful. Did the guy live?

I believe he successfully fled the scene it's his truck but he disappeared so they can't prove it

After I moved off the farm my mom lived in a trailer park and he was right across the street living with his mom when we were super bad little teenagers. I would get to escape to my dad's house in the suburbs half the time though and I could tell he was a lost soul without that father figure to reign him in.

I thought so when I first heard it and I can’t remember a single thing about it now but praise that specific is interesting

How do you rank their first 3 records?

In retrospect it's easy to spot those types but you never really know.

I was one of those crazy scrappy kids but I always had it in me to survive s***, rebuild and move on. Some people just get caught in it forever.

154 has a super unique feel to it.
Even compared to other post-punk albums.

i had one especially lunatic friend back then who i was positive was gonna end up dead or in jail but i think hes still walkin around with his lil family doing alright his mom was the neighbourhood (indian reservation) d*** dealer, another no dad situation, listened to Slipknot obsessively (but also Tupac, Rage, Bone) and had more and more holes in his walls every time i went over. eventually the drywall was gone and his bedroom was just beam walls. his big sister was a junkie in the city and was found murdered in a duffel bag in a dumpster down an alley of the epicentre of the opioid crisis back in the 90s; East Hastings. Part of the reason this s*** hits so heavy.

Always wondered how you felt about East Hastings but I guess its self explanatory. I've seen a enough junkie towns in NYC to feel the song too.

I don't know. I always had that attitude that I was too f***ing crazy and stupid to ever make it past my 20s. Now I'm at that point and I'm still here. It's weird. I'm too much of a f***ing reckless moron to be alive and thriving yet here I am. And my friends are dead.

As I said, life is strange.
