Never heard of either Jockstrap or BCNR. Just looked em up and saw that BCNR toured with Black Midi so that gives me some kind of idea of their sound

If you havent listened to it yet, the album Bright Green Field by Squid (another band from that movement) is the t***. I def was late to that party but glad i made it eventually

I have a job where I can listen to music for a lot of the day, and I'm just flat out addicted to listening to new stuff. It's a problem

Damn. I guess my work definitely contributes to being so behind on music. Pretty physically demanding and no music for 34 hours a week so I'm always too tired to put my attention elsewhere

Ants From Up There by BCNR and the Squid album are comfortably my favourite albums from that whole scene

I go through spells where I'm stressed or just really need to focus and I need to work in quiet, but most of the time I have a few hours in a working day where I can chuck some tunes on
