So I was recently sick for like 2 weeks (normal, i catch everything). Started as a stomach bug, then strep throat and a minor sinus infection and regular cold.

After I got better (few days ago), despite never having an ear infection during my sickness, my right ear was (and still is) a bit plugged up. Everything in that ear is a tad muffled and quite sensitive to louder noises, especially higher frequencies.

Went to the doc today, ends up I got fluid clogging up my ear, so now I have to
1. Take Advil 2-3 times a day every day for a few weeks
2. Always take 2 HOT STEAMY showers every day for a couple weeks to help get rid of the fluid
3. Take nasal spray 2 times a day for 2 months!!!
4. Always keep my ears protected from cold (it is Winter in Saskatchewan, also potentially impossible because I work in slightly colder conditions)

My use of the words "huh", "what", and "pardon" has went up exponentially to people talking from far away or closer to my right ear

Strangely enough, music in my headphones doesn't hurt very much at all but louder music from my car or home speakers can put a bit of pressure on that ear

Used the nasal spray already once today. Have to use it in both and I could not feel a thing when I sprayed in my right nostril

S*** is annoying fr but the ear blockage is more annoying so i gotta put the effort to follow everything
