Galaxy de list monyou literally created this argument out of nothing when I was mostly agreeing with you on Thom's voice. I was just giving you the biggest argument I've seen against it (and maybe calling the fans 'dickriders' was cause for overreaction), but every huge artist with a huge online following will always have people finding their fans annoying or the band overrated. You're trying to disprove my personal opinion because you think my points are outdated? I never called anybody in here annoying for liking RH and have firmly kept my argument ont he band themselves (again, every band or artist will always have people calling them overrated, not a dated concept AT ALL. One of the most ridiculous sentences I've ever seen on a public forum.) Again you are creating an argument out of nothing as I was practically agreeing with you on Thom. The d***riders comment was just an aside and you took that little tidbit and ran with it. We are all d***riders of different artists,. Not a slight.

Lowkey I'm working on a TV pilot with a friend of mine about the world of karaoke/open mic that's going to have a ton of original music. It's got a hybrid Cheers/It's Always Sunny kind of humor but with more prestige TV backstory to keep viewers involved. Actually have some composers/songwriters in line to work on it and a producer/agent friend that wants in when we have more of it in place.
The main thing I really love about LA is that people are always wanting to work on s*** lol it's never boring

Not contradicting myself at all. You just took the "internet is a Radiohead jerk off fest" as my primary argument instead of focusing on the point I was making about Thom's voice perhaps being the reason many people may not like him or think the band is overrated (since the discussion started as to why I think RH is overrated. The fans are not a reason if that's what you're wondering). I can see why you think I might've been calling the fans annoying in that situation but I wasn;t and maybe I worded it wrongly. Anyways, that wasn't even my point and you strung onto that like super glue. I was just giving examples of people I've met who don't like RH and their reasons (again, a direct contrast to the love they get online). This was never about online talking points.
And I will die on the hill that RH is still beloved online. Calling that an outdated opinion is one of the most ridiculous things you've said, dude. sorry. They are one of the most reviewed and loves artists on RYM, always get lots of views on React channels, always have meme videos based on their discography and whatnot. The same can be applied to someone like Kanye who gets the same kind of clickability. Internet will always love RH imo.
