Dang i wonder what it is about her you dont mesh with. Cause i would 've guess you were for sure a fan after listening to this new album. There's a lot of parts on it that sound like RoL era Madonna and other stuff that just seems up your alley in terms of female pop artists.

Also lots of stuff in it that reminds of that airy electronic/techno stuff that was popular in the 90s. This song from 1993 is one of the first things that came to mind:

im not sure honestly. maybe part of it is that her explorations into different styles click with me at all. like Bunny Is a Rider and whatever the spanish sounding one was

theres just something i cant put my finger on that makes her not very compelling and she doesnt have much of a "fun" factor for me either. need to give the new album a few more spins tho for sure
