NoirAstral Weeks straight up isn't a debut under any criteria that exists lol
Lauryn I get, even if it contradicts not picking Pandora's Box (both had made albums before)
Pandora's Box is hard to count as a 'debut' since none of the singers are prolific in their own rights and it's pretty much an extension of Steinman's production Empire with singers hand picked by Steinman. If I included it it's my #1.
Lauryn thing is not a contradiction. It's her first solo studio debut album.

This new Japanese House album is f***ing with me. I can't fully recommend it to anyone outside of genre fans because it's so derivative but I feel like I'm being brutally beaten emotionally because it's exactly the kind of s*** I was listening to a couple years ago (Japanese Breakfast, Caroline Polachek, Clairo, The 1975) and the nostalgia/trauma is crazy even though the album didn't exist
If this had come out back then it would be one of my favorite albums, instead I'm just kinda waiting for it to be over. That happens to me sometimes, especially with indie pop. A lot of that s*** sounds the same but I tend to enjoy it anyway.

It's great no matter what but when you've been in a s***ty relationship with an addict it really hurts like nothing else. John really felt this s***.
