its ok to use 10/10 as just your highest standard of enjoyment instead of some super sacred elite echelon that only .0000001% songs will ever reach

like having your absolute favorite artists have 30 songs youd call 10/10 sounds reasonable to me

This is why I don’t do ratings for anything

Nabbed this classy hardcover with the complete works of the mon Raymond Carver. Probably my 2nd fav author behind Cormac, the mon just knew how to put heart on pages in the most simple ways

nice dude. in a weird way that's hard to explain they share some similarities. I think Cathedral is the best short story I've ever read tbh

Literally no band or artist has 30+ 10/10 songs you're a slave to hyperbole my friend

a number of classical composers tbh

Beau is Afraid was f***ing hilarious lmfao it’s like a dark Truman Show

def enjoyed it way more than Midsommar

all i’d heard was how f***ed up and bizarre it is, but imo it was only a lil more f***ed up than Hereditary

I rate things for myself because I can't remember if I liked or even watched some things after 5 plus years. Very handy to read about a movie that sounds cool only to check LB and find out I already didn't like it half a decade ago. saves alot of time.

I actually agree with fidel on this one but I agree I really only use LB to log interesting films I've seen/see what other people in this thread think of films i've seen/want to see.

Only thing I ever started doing ratings for is books and I regret that cause now I look back at old ratings and think actually nah I don't agree with that any more. And it takes ages to reread a book so I'm just stuck with these old ratings. There's some 5 starers sat amongst my all time favourites that definitely don't belong there
