Yea I can respect that whole “mumble” film scene but the people involved seem so unlikable and obnoxious down to the fictional characters. I will say I did enjoy the 2 ARP films I seen some time ago.

Wouldn't quite call those spooky tbh, Blackstar had come out 2 days before he died and every Bowie fan was bumping it. Like me you probably rarely go more than a week or so without hearing some Prince. Still a little unsettling.

don't know. Barbie's first 30 minutes are fantastic but kind of loses focus of what it wants to convey so that it's at the end even more fragmented than Oppenheimer to me. to me it's Gerwig's weakest feature to date. It's def fun tho
Oppenheimer has many unnecessary scenes (that affair in particular should have been left out completely imo) but it comes together in the end with a far bigger and sincere payoff than Barbie to me.
Funny I don’t really share any of your issues with Oppenheimer. I think the affair and how it plays into the rest of it is one of the better parts of the film.
