it's ok but i never cared for 50 so I'm bias. Even the most noticeable singles are kinda eh to me... It has been years and years since I've listened to 50 though

i mean... I don't hold them nearly in the same regard as you do probably. Both top 40 rap albums though, I reckon.

Top ten for me. SpeakerBoxx/Love Below might be too.

Love Below is probably the most interesting standalone piece of work from Kast, followed closely by Sir Lucious Left Foot. Aquemini is probably objectively their 'zenith' but there's a few tracks I really don't care for at all on there.

I think overall he’s kind of mediocre but on that first record he really tapped into something special. It’s like he got it all out of his system and then never really felt the desire again.

Yeah there are some skips on all their albums but rap albums are almost always bloated so you learn to tune (or edit) the skips out. The highs are so high they don't matter anyway.

It's insane how crazily consistently VERY GOOD they were for 5 straight records (and some would argue they're among the GOATs. I'm not in that camp personally.) Could argue they increased the creativity with each record while keeping the same ballpark of quality (7.5-8 IMO)

7.5-8 is NOT an insult btw.

tail end of Stankonia been growing on me substatially, Toilet Tisha specifically. Humble Mumble - ? - Red Velvet - Gangsta S*** - Toilet TIsha - Slum Beautiful - Stanklove is a hell of a way to bookend a record. Still think Snappin and Trappin is completely unnecessary. We Luv Dee Hoez is obnoxious, and I'll Call Before I Come feels like fluff bit isnt bad. The rest is fuego

I still remember in late high school being like when Eminem had just done 8 Mile and was untouchable I was driving around with this hot chick and her friends and they threw on Square Dance but fast forwarded through the 10 second accordion intro lol

    song is still a banger
