Big Black Coat!!! I haven't listened to that in ages, got some jams
I listen to that album on a weekly basis. The whole thing is on my work playlist and i instantly get into the zone when my shuffle blesses me with one of the songs
Such an awesome consistent dancey album. The bridge in "You Say That" where everything drops out but the vocals and distorted synth
And im sure i've mentioned in Fam thread at some point, but the final clanging crescendo in "Cmon Baby" that keeps building and increasing volume of the sirens is definitely among my favorite music moments over the past decade. Blasting that s*** at near max volume in the car on the highway at night is next level. Only stuff that rivals that feeling is a few songs on Yeezus and a couple from Xiu Xiu ("Get Up").

Heavy guitar riffs band with some great songwriting and chorus talent. A little poppy at times but also lots of guitars and transitions in their songs. Kind of a grungey-blues feel to their music.

I remember the production on the whole thing being gorgeous. Just put the title track on and the back half of that is crazy
I really dig Jeremy Greenspan's production on all the Jessy Lanza albums as well, so many perfect little pop jams
