So last summer my car's AC was fried and the condenser was leaking. No surprise since I got a letter that my model had potential AC condenser problems. Annoying but whatever.

Earlier this summer the new condenser was leaking again and I spent the hottest 2 weeks this year with no AC in my car. What made it worse was the fact I drive about 20-25 minutes to and from work so I'm just sweating in my car with the windows down hoping that would help. (It didn't)

And NOW one of the AC valves is broken which is blowing hot air on the drivers side. And the part is on back order so it could be over a month. F*** this car and f*** honda. Only silver lining is that it'll start to get cooler outside soon so it won't be as bad as before but it's still f***ing annoying

my civic ac never worked, even got it fixed, only ever worked if it was less than 90 but that’s almost never in texas

    What about Bo Diddley?

I like Little Richard and Chuck more than both but Bo was a bad motherfucker for real.

I was just listening to this Fats album I bought and it reminded me of Edgar Elvis said about him

Of all the early rockers, only Link Wray came close to how badass Bo Diddley could be.

    What about Bo Diddley?

Tbh I can hardly rank any of the 50s guys over each other. All mega goats.

Nobody touching Chuck for the riffs and follow-the-bouncing-ball pop poetry

Nobody touching Richard for sheer, manic energy and androgynous line blurring

Bo a voodoo self mythologizer with the most gigantic voice and ability to harness a wall of noise

Elvis had the most infinitesimally nuanced vocals that were just pure s***and the ability to transform any old ditty into a monstrous banger

Fats brought the roll to rock & roll and exuded an overwhelming warmth in every note

Everlys had the harmonies so pure the Beach Boys sounded like the Kingsmen and also had mega acoustic guitar finesse

Jerry Lee had the most legitimate hillbilly psychopath swagger and performances so nuts that would even give Little Richard pause

Ricky Nelson had the most to prove and did it by being the smoothest mf on the planet

Orbison brought that operatic drama that Elvis could only hint at

Been listening to the second (EDIT: 4th) Cloud Nothings album. Probably not on the level of Attack on Memory but f*** me does it absolutely go hard

I thought Attack on Memory was their debut lol. Been listening to Here and Nowhere Else. It's awesome.
