Death Grips is dope. ppl act like they’re super inaccessible for the avg music listener but imo they got multiple songs most ppl can enjoy
showed em to my girl who only likes old music and EDM, she loves Get Got , I’ve Seen Footage, and Guillotine
We were saying last night me and my boy. They are loud and noisy but they have catchy hooks melodies memorable choruses for days. U show em to people they like tf but when they actually listen the hooks come through. They make pop music.

hell yeah, it’s like purposefully off putting noise pop
Dude genesis off the nos hits diff. One of the reasons i enjoyed phish so much is they really reminded me of gabriel genesis in their guitar tones and synths
through the door a harvest feast is lit by candlelight its the bottom of a staircase that SPIRALS OUT OF SIGHT
I saw a piece about the 20th anniversary of deliverance by bubba sparxxx. I had never heard this album before. Redneck rap. With insane production from timbaland where he samples fiddles and jug band music. Unlike anything else ive ever heard. F***ing amazing album. Unreal how id never checked it.
Inside My Head is so good
“ I can't find it in the cupboard, I can't find it on a map
I can't find it and I'm sad and it's never coming back
I can't find it in the drawer and it's not under the bed
I can't find it on the floor and it's not inside my HEAAADDDD”
This might be my favorite on first listen. I love how “big” everything sounds.

Cult clossic and some of Timbo best production
Bubba was rapping good too. Basically said f*** it to commercial sales and stayed true :datass:

Was listening to Tim by The Replacements earlier. So good. Their Big Star influence can probably be felt the most on that one.
Drove around tonight looking at the early Halloween lights and decorations with my daughter and we listened to Harvest all the way through. It's one of those cloudy September nights, kind of chilly for LA and the vibe was so good.
She often complains about music that isn't her usual stuff but I think she enjoyed the album. Totally quiet for a lot of it until she asked me to turn up Words
Harvest isn't my favorite Neil but if it's a melancholy kind of moment there's not much better.

Sounds like a great night. Late September - mid November is easily my favorite time of the year.

Nice and simple album good for kids. Similar to Moondance, another one if my childhood faves.

I hate this time of year. Just knowing that you're in for 6 months of darkness, cold and rain makes me wanna put my head in the oven. Like Jan/Feb is obviously the most miserable but at least by that point you know there's only a couple more months of it
