Still can't explain it but the emo voice is still that opposite of what I want to hear from music

That Interpol record is cool but it's reached an underserved status at this point. Probably cause that band couldn't make a single quality record after that so people have to push up the only good one
Yeah I can't hate on it like I was expecting to but it's just good not great afaict

ive come around more to the emo voice but the screaming version of the emo voice is a bit tough for me usually

more like bunnymen + strokes. which i have no problem with
i dont think interpol sounds identical to all the post punk bands of old like people say. similar obviously but not ripoff

I've never heard people say that but I was definitely thinking it today. If the songs went deep enough it wouldn't matter. Maybe I'll keep it in rotation.

I’m gonna be honest—I’ve never connected with a full Bunnymen album. They got great songs, but it never comes together for me as a full listening experience. I think Turn on The Bright Lights is way more complete feeling than anything they’ve ever done.

KoalaYea damn good game, surprised how much easier it was this second go around even years later. One boss that I skipped was The Demon, idk I always hated that fight. Owl, Gene, Ish, and Monk were killer
Funny how they just straight up throw a Bloodborne boss in at the end

I can't imagine a reality where this is in the same ballpark as Outkast and Kanye. Really good rap album (now that I'm used to his voice) but no mind blowing moments that transcend the genre like those other dudes.
I prefer xxx to any OutKast

The best Echo album is their compilation imo as well

Opening three tracks, Monopoly, DNA, Party All the Time, 30 are all unbelievable showcases of rapping, punchlines and charisma
The whole record is a clinic on sequencing and alternating moods effectively. Some tracks linger in the mind longer than others but the overall effect of the album is unique and unforgettable
