I didn‘t join the thread to beef with someone - I made my first post here two days ago just asking what type of thread it is and this one weirdo instantly started f***ing with me & spread negative energy around my name for no reason at all and idek him. I understand if y’all want this thread to be purely music related/or just a chill converstation in general and I‘m 100% in support of that. But the Israel-Palestine convo started ITT before I even joined & if you share an political opinion in a public chat then don’t expect no replies.

i mean yeah i wouldnt disagree that its usually a mistake to get deep into those convos itt anyway and its definitely resulted in frustations

but having those potentially heated convos among users whove known each other for years feels different than when a random person comes itt to engage only with that

I don't even know why people wanna have debates/what there even is to say about Israel/Palestine at this point. Especially in this age of propaganda and misinformation you can't really trust anything you see on the news so there's especially little point in discussing it let alone arguing about it.
