Why the Verve and Oasis are the only britpop I can really f*** with. Just regular pub f***head/sometimes depressing tunes. Once it gets too artsy I'm out of there.

There's something about that late 80s/early 90s wave. MBV, Slowdive, etc. Like musically they're doing really cool things but they also annoy the f*** out of me.

I prefer the bands that were influenced by them. Like the Pumpkins took influence from all that s*** but made it more raw and cool. Same with Oasis. It's just half party songs and then drunken emotional s*** written as pop songs. I dunno.

Maybe definitely gonna keep it in rotation
