Took me like 2 year of quietly aggressive pursuit before I turned our first casual fling into an actual relationship (cause she was going to school out of town for a while but point still stands about being patient and putting in work)

Think I asked this question over 5 years ago but what's an artist for you guys that's like a top 10-15 GOAT but you wouldn't put any of their albums in your top... 50-60 ish. I think it's Tom Waits for me. He's just released so much great music but none I'd personally throw at the top of a list. Funny enough, he's probably got 3 songs I'd consider for my top 50 if I ever did one. ("In the Neighborhood", "Anywhere I Lay My Head", "Come On Up to the House")

Good advice. I'm in this space right now. There's a girl in my circle that I'm really into but I'm playing it slow, inviting her to things and making her feel appreciated when I can. It's been like 2-3 months.
With everything happening in my life I'm not exactly in a massive rush to get back out there and my friends are understanding about that and not trying to hook me up. It'll happen when it happens.
