halfway through What Would the Community Think and lowkey it’s pretty boring and I don’t like how tinny and thin the production and her voice sound. the even lower fi recording equipment than Moon Pix apparent on some of these tracks makes her higher register sound shrill imo. also the instrumentals with a whole lot of quick, repetitive chord strumming are getting pretty tired already.

so far i’ve enjoyed “In This Hole” and “Taking People” the most

“Water & Air”

Nah I love the repetitive strumming on a lot of these songs. It gives the songs a very hypnotic and unsettling feel. And not mentioning "Nude as the News" as a highlight is an offense of the highest order

just finished and man, while I didn’t really enjoy like 6 of the more boring songs very much, the other 6 are some of her best imo. the ones i named + Bathysphere and Enough are all great

it’s definitely hypnotic lol i just needed her to do a bit more vocally to make those songs work for me
