i think I would only put Bandana over EA from past couple years. 2019 was a really bad year for rap imo outside of some decent projects from Thug, Griselda and Pierre.

This year has had quite a few solid releases so far though.

I wouldn’t want it simply to be 50 albums, I’d want it to be my top 50. I don’t include hip-hop in my lists (I never have so I’m not going to start now) and I don’t want to just force some top 50 list out of everything else I’ve heard. With other decades I feel like I have a lot more to work with in my mind.
