Very Basednot really. I make a decent salary but remember living in Manhattan the expenses are insane.
thinking of subletting my apartment for 4 months and living with my parents to spend more time with them, would save an insane amount of money not paying rent or living in Manhattan for that long.

I posted this in another thread but the value of a charizard (and any vintage card) has to do completely with the condition of the card..
I have plenty of cards that I could sell for 200 dollars but if they were in pristine condition might sell for 8-10k. In fact if my whole collection was brand new it would be worth like 200,000 dollars not the 7-8k I could sell it for now.
A shadowless 1st edition charizard goes for 1600 raw, 7800 as a PSA 8 and up to 300,000 dollars as a PSA 10. And keep in mind there isn't that much difference at all in quality between a PSA 8 and a PSA 10. It can come down to a single scratch on the card. And the grading company is pretty subjective with how they grade these things. A PSA 9 will often get rated a 10 and a 10 will often get rated a 9. Once something hits a 10 the value increases by like 10 fold.
Honestly the value kina peaked in 2021 and has been going down a bit since then. The charizard PSA 10 was 300,000 3 years ago and now sells for around 230k. But if were him I'd wait at least another 5 years to see if the value starts to go up again. I'm sure in 15 years when these cards are 40 years old they'll be worth even more than when they were 20 years old in 2020.

Tbh alot of the pokemon movies from back in the day definitely have mature moments. I remember watching the pokemon Heroes movie when I was 7 and when Latios dies at the end after combining powers with Latias

Well I haven't really payed any attention to it in 20 years but yeah was insanely into it back in the day. I played the games but don't remember much about them. Was also really into Yu-Gi-Oh but think my parents threw out those cards.

Fella@Elric I listened to your rec. It’s very good and definitely “FellaCore”, but it’s sometimes frustrating because it’s almost so overwhelming pretty that it becomes emotionally numbing. So many songs are reliant on the lush arrangements—that half the time whatever engaging songwriting is there gets buried or passed by too quickly. However the song Beginner’s Heart is a real stand out. It’s like if Phil Elverum made an Antlers track in the style of Sufjan Stevens, but if it was also produced by Justin Vernon. So yeah….It’s like if indie folk was boiled into its essential characteristics and then blown up to something bigger.
