depending on the book reading is much easier to do in silence imo. studying is a bit different.

The original is one of those classics that always gets listed in top 50 English language books lists. I really didn't like it though. Frankenstein's monster is this intellectual/articulate dude and it's all very weird imo.

The books I really liked as a kid were the Series of Unfortunate Events books, The Nancy Farmer books (Sea of Trolls, House of The Scorpion), The Giver, and some others I can't remember.

It's the actual book lol I think the publisher does pulpy covers of a bunch of classics. Haven't read it before but I'll give it a go, it's cool that she was basically a child when she wrote it

Ah okay I was listening to it and assumed maybe it was the album. Will give it a listen. A lot of drone albums are just a single song.

This is like a mix between drone/ambient/modern classical. Worth listening to for sure if you have time to spare. If you liked Promises by Floating Points I think you'd like this
