!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbmkt-Gt930Yeah it's catchy
Are any of these up my snicket?
I think so yeah
Ducks is easy jangle pop
Fabiana sounds very 80s, bit of prince worship
Mount Kimbie is really well produced krautrock/post-punk
Adrianne and Waxa are just great singer-songwriter albums
I remember giving Marth s*** for going crazy over Mitski but damn she has bangers for days
There's a few songs on that Lenker album that I think stop it from being an instant classic but mostly it's so f***ing special. Best songwriter of the last 10 years

First song is too much for me to handle so I always start it on track 2

Makeout Creek and Puberty 2 are my favs. New one is nice with Americana vibes as well. Be the cowboy probably my least favorite

She was one of those artists I just unfairly judged back then and forgot about. Then a friend of mine recently who's a huge fan showed me a buncha stuff and yeah, I think she's really cool.

Amazing song though. I don't really like Candleflame or Evol. The latter sounds beautiful but is f***ing stupid. We all clowned Eminem for the "love backwards is evil" bit so we're not letting her off

Yeah that was nobody is free from making corny lines
"greatest songwriter alive" - @Very_Based
Have you heard this Cindy Lee album that p4k just gave a 9 downloaded it to my phone but all the tracks got jumbled and i had to re organize them in a new playlist. It's pretty cool so far. Straight up 60s psych worship @RVI @Elric @HeyFella
not yet but i heard another cindy lee album and it was okay, and also always liked Women - Public Strain a lot (also including Patrick Flegel)

Not yet, I'm bad at seeking stuff out now if it's not streaming and I'm pretty sure this never will be. I will listen though, I like what I've heard from Flegel especially those early Women albums

Whole thing is on YouTube as well. The download is super f***y though if that's the path you choose. At least it was for me.
Already gave her a bunch of listens. Really nice but didnt quite hit as a classic. I had just got an insanely potent album from another lady of that era, Linda Perhacs, and anything else was gonna pale in comparison to me at that time.
You didn’t listen to Heart Food tho. I think the first album is a classic, but Heart Food transcends the singer/songwriter stuff of that era. It’s so ahead of its time.

It’s so beautiful, but I get that feeling
