    I would've picked 45:33 for 2007 too if it wasn't released in 2006

You really did the full 360 back to Radiohead stan lol. I think OKC second half is still massively flawed and can't hold a candle to Perfect From now on

s***. ok then it's Marry Me or Person Pitch. need to listen to more 2007 albums.

idk my least fav track on OKC might actually be Subterranean Homesick Alien while the second side has Climbing Up The Walls, No Surprises and The Tourist which are fairly in the middle if not the top of my internal ranking of the album. I'm conflicted on lucky. the guitar in the chorus is a bit too much for me nowadays but the verses (especially the second) are fantastic. I love Electioneering for how unhinged it is. Even the songwriting feels a bit undercooked but it sort of fits the general attitude of the song. Then again, my favorite Rock Radiohead moments are when they are their most unhinged (Bangers + Mash being probably my favorite rocker of theirs besides The National Anthem). As for Radiohead in general. I used to abstain them for stupid reasons. I still love them and liked listening to them back then. Sure, they are overrated but also overhated.

    leals core rise

This dude called himself "Dead", sang about death and depression, and then killed himself when he was like 22. There was a lot of theatricality to his depression but that doesn't make it any less real.

Original singer of Mayhem btw. One of the most "revered"/respected dudes in that scene. Ultimately his story is just pretty sad.

Didn't he have Cotard's Syndrome or something? disease where you believe you're dead or don't exist?

    "The delirium of negation" spooky

Imo it sounds like OCD+melancholia that's been worsened by some traumatic event

Oh no doubt, I can’t even imagine how he lived day to day with that, it sounds so draining. He used to bury his clothes, and sometimes himself lol, before shows to give himself more of a dead look which is kinda amazing to me for some reason

fantastic track. love how deranged and cynical it is. It's melodrama but a very discouraged, deranged and dissociated one.

Fair. I still think the first half of OKC is as close to perfect as it gets. Maybe I'm due for a re listen this year

actually most of them I disagree with as being part of 2012's greatness but to each their own.
