I thought you would like it
You and @Galaxy are two of the most vocal Ye stans itt
Vultures kibda grew off me and he's been pretty middling since 2018 but I still listen and hope for something great
I definitely gave up on him but am always pleased when he chooses to be lucid
Vultures 2 & 3 might win me back though
Okay well there's giving up and there's giving up
I saw you out there enjoying vultures as much as any of us and defending him in the album thread, which is a hell of a lot more than the rest of this thread is willing to do. I've been calling him the biggest a****** on the planet for several years now but I can't deny his albums sound better than almost anybody's to me.
Well, I said I would post clips from my first full band gig and I'm good on my word. A friend filmed the whole thing. I'm off to the right, on lead guitar.
The audience is loud as f*** here. I would say there were maybe 60 people in that room and a lot of them knew my roommate's songs. The rhythm section was so great and you can really hear everything click in spots, after 3 weeks of rehearsals. The promoter was impressed with the numbers and wants to book the group again soon.
Best part of the set is probably 16:30-18:00 or thereabouts. I was smiling before that song started because I knew it was going to be so good. The climax goes stupid hard.
One the best nights of my life tbh. Two songs in, I knew this was something I wanted to keep doing. Once school lets out, I'm gonna live in the studio for two months and try to knock out my album.

I always pictured you as Charles Mingus. Illusion shattered
That's rad though

Her raspy delivery kinda gives me Frances Quinlan vibes good s*** overall dude.

you have that sort of ability where you're really going into things but don't delve into pretentiousness while keeping it your personal opinion + emotional reaction with a kind edge to it. at least that's how I'd describe your style. I really like it a lot.

I got called King Krule the other day got the deep voice too

Yeah she's got one of those gnarly indie rock voices. I met her doing open mics and there's a lot of melancholy in the music, but it really gets a boost from a band. Can't wait to help guide the direction of her album.
Thanks to everyone who gave this a listen.

I appreciate that. Thanks man.
