Ngl I think this new Eminem song is his first since 8 Mile that doesn't make me go
I’ll still go to bat for most of his 2000’s output after that (especially Relapse) and there’s a handful of songs here and there over the next decade that are fine, but yeah it’s the first in a while where his delivery and flow isn’t terrible. I’ll never listen to it again, but the video made me smile and the self aware “edge” of it is charming. He’s aware he’s old and that to keep acting like this is embarrassing, but he’s having some fun with it. It’s infinitely preferable to melodramatic inspirational anthems with pop hooks or rappity rap technical exercises.

Yup it's decent
Yeah it looks fun but pretty different from the original Silent Hill which was more of a slow burn creepy feverdream vibe than an action game
Will still check it out though

pure moods
He was awesome in the 80s but yeah so far the vocal performances have sounded kinda undercooked. Just always straining in the same note to my ears. I'll keep on them if course.
His vocal climaxes for suppers ready and the musical box slay me

Yeah exactly. He has some goodish songs through the 2000s but they just distinctly lack the magic of that first run. Revisited the whole SSLP-8Mile run today and yeah it's still absurdly potent
It had been so long that throwaway lines like;
"My bum is on your lips, my bum is on your lips" and "this puppy is lucky I didn't blast his ass yet"
had me genuinely chuckling at their stupidity. Made me realize how precious Kanye is cause he's the only one out here dropping such ridiculous lines.

I've given Suppers Ready a good ten listens out of
but I'm afraid I'm not ready for Genesis

That PFM album settling in though? They've been growing on me definitely upper tier continental euro prog

yeah they really captured that sound/vibe but put their own twist on it, incorporating jersey club etc. now so many groups are imitating it. Kpop really is the art of imitation but when it's done well it's done so well

Theyre really the best doing it at the moment, but I like what ARTMS (Loona) is doing too
Kinda out of the loop otherwise
If you want an artistic seizure

I remember a broski back in high school turned me on to Dane Cook from a CD and he had everyone cracking up, this was before he blew up. Then all of a sudden he was everywhere and the most popular comic.. Then it was almost like something clicked and nobody thought he was that funny
I think he overexposed himself. After vicious Circle, he should’ve pulled an Eddie Murphy and retired from putting out standup specials. Rough around the edges is trash and good luck Chuck is unforgivable
Also I think the 2008 financial crisis made cynical comedians like Burr and CK more popular
