Looking at the artwork I figured it was a Death Wish band and Converge had major influence haha but yea the drums and that bass is nasty
Album seems to be getting love too.

Finally got around to XTC’s album Oranges & Lemons and I’m kind of confused why I rarely see it talked about. It’s a really good evolution of the sounds they were dabbling in on Skylarking and their Dukes of The Stratosphere project. Most of the songwriting is really strong.

Really interesting song here
!https://youtu.be/_4jB1pS4JUY?si=KczVVL7kxkb7DgigYeah there’s so many strong interesting songs on there. The one I don’t get all the love for is English Settlement. Sure it has some great classic material, but it’s also way too long and filled with all time bad songs in their catalog like Melt The Guns and It’s Nearly Africa. Oranges & Lemons has some odd corny tracks like Pink Thing, but that at least is very pleasant and pretty.
