Would've agreed with this a couple of years ago but I feel like both twitter and instagram have both got way worse since then.

I don't like how instagram tried to keep up with tik tok by making itself so reel focused and the algorithm will forever serve me s***e from someone I watched one video from like 6 months ago.

And the twitter "for you" section if just f***ing dross now but maybe that's always been the case. But replies to any tweet now are just nonsensical, bots and morons who have paid for a blue tick. Plus the app is janky as f*** since he fired like half the tech people

It's horrific and it's the case on all social media now, but I think twitter is the worst cause it's the easiest one to just chuck throwaway thoughts on.

Some of the stuff going round on social media after the attack in Southport earlier this week led to full scale riots that targeted a mosque. And none of it was true, the attacker wasn't even a Muslim guy
