finished Twin Peaks S2 and
the ending was super strong but cant believe how bad it got for like 10 episodes in the middle. it makes sense with what I just read about Lynch leaving or whatever. but it became totally unrecognizable and the rock bottom was horrific. Nadine, Little Nicky, D\*\*\* Tremayne, James, random guy as Audrey's love interest, jesus christ. went from a 10/10 show to 3/10
apparently all thats left is good s*** with the Fire Walk With Me movie and Season 3 though so
I’m a big defender of that portion of the series.

all of it? or what
even during some of the worst episodes there was usually a redeeming cliffhanger or decent scene with Cooper or something that still kept me interested. at its worst it just felt like every scene besides the ones with Cooper were a struggle to get through. and the world was still overall compelling i guess but the contrast between the bad and the good parts that were still there were part of why it seemed so jarring to me

All of it. I like that it fully leans into the soap opera nature of the material.
idk I'm a sucker for soap opera with characters I like and it's all redeemed by the finale, which imo still is the peak of the show.
However, that James storyline is atrocious
and there was one episode (not the Diane Keaton) where every scene ends with them just kissing each other (too on the nose) and repetitive. There are lows for me but I like the overall craziness

Hiking
When I was on the dating apps a couple years ago I rolled my eyes at the amount of women who said they love hiking. I’ve never understood the appeal.

Rolled your eyes? Gimme a break.
It's fun
Nice to just go for a walk somewhere pretty isn't it

Yup. I didn't do it really this summer though unfortunately. Most of my exercise was inside then immediately passing out afterwards
I like beaches. Otherwise I really don't care for nature at all
