    Was cool but Coppola's movie was better

    I know after reading No Country I felt like the flick was actually better.. Its like I seen it so many times that was the version ill always remember.

    Seen people say The Exorcist book was scarier

    The book just has more of what you see in the movie. Like the demon and priest convos go on a lot longer. I get why they cut some of it down, the movie would be like 4+ hours otherwise.

    She also does s*** that just wouldn't work on a technical level for a 70s movie. She slithers down the stairs like a snake at one point which is creepy af in your imagination but would probably just look dumb on screen.

  • Ok long story short I tried editing the mini list rules last night and accidentally deleted the rules instead of editing them

    It was 3 am and I did that thing where you fall asleep again with your finger on the screen

    Updated rules later tonight and I will re-tag everybody to avoid confusion

    You should give Space Odyssey a read. I read it in a day and it definitely clarified alot of the more abstract elements of the film for me, without killing the mystique.

    I actually didn't know that was a book, tbh I only seen the movie once back in the day. They have a book for Solaris too.

    Yeah I feel the same about the Exorcist. It goes more into the demon vs Merrin's feud and who the demon is in general without killing any of the creepy mystery behind it
