@Koala bro what’s your favorite decade or general time period for books? I’m looking up different recs and reviews and whatnot and it sounds like the 1940s-1980s produced a ton of great stuff

1860s

Man I can’t really say because books feel like a whole different thing for me than film, music, etc. I guess a period from 1920-80’s will have a ton of great stuff haha

Was kind joking but Journey To The Center Of The Earth and especially 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea

Also Great Expectations and Alice In Wonderland but I won't pretend I've ever read any Tolstoy or Dostoevsky lol

I’m hitting a book store this weekend so I’ll probably pick up 4 or 5 books

I remember reading some Jules Verne in school and it was pretty cool

They're shameless adventure stories for little boys but they're still fascinating. 20,000 Leagues probably in my top 5.

anyone heard of Super Mario Eclipse? It looks fantastic. It's a mod of Super Mario Sunshine that's basically a giant dlc with bug fixing and several new worlds/blue coin counter/Luigi/interconnected travelling/extended moveset/better camera etc. Basically Sunshine but with more depth etc..
