Here’s a few takes since it’s Election Day

Tbh I would be shocked if they actually let Trump win again. 2016 was an anomaly that changed the political landscape, the people voted against an establishment Clinton, burned any credibility the media had left, and made the choice to go with a businessman/celebrity which seems insane thinking back.

Fast forward now and I’ve never seen a candidate in Harris that was widely considered a bust for 3 1/2 years be pushed to stardom on the level of Rosa Parks/Obama/Jesus by the media full force after Biden basically died on stage after 1 debate. Might be biased because I’m in a red state but everyone regardless of race would tell you these last 4 years were absolutely s*** for working class people.

The problem I have with today’s Democrats is being moderate isn’t left enough and can see how that approach turns people off.

A political ideology of just "we're not gunna offer much but at least we're not them" while seemingly pandering to people who are never gunna vote for you anyway, it's unlikely to work and even if it does you're stuck with a useless bunch of careerists in charge who don't believe in anything and don't want to change anything for anyone, like we've got in the uk now.

When THAT is your only ostensible left wing option you're just gunna sew the seeds for far right populism further down the line anyway. I guess that's what the Biden administration has done already
