I agree with what you said about wwitch and lighthouse. I don't think the Northman was a dud, it wasn't his best but still better than 95% of what Hollywood produces. Still not sure if i'll put him on my list though.

Yes not surprisingly I relate the most to films that resemble my own culture
the foreign stuff is later in the list ngl kyary was such an a****** and so obsessed with almost strictly Asian art that it kinda turned me off the whole thing. like I subconsciously don't want to be into anything that that guy was into

I checked out a lot of stuff you guys mentioned this year and it all just sounded like music that exists. Been waiting ages for Diamond Jubilee to show up on Spotify but it's still not there so I'm just listening on YouTube now and it's blowing me away.
