No
Was pleasantly surprised Bully didn't have any reprehensible nazi lyrics but i guess he was saving them for this other album. Some Vultures 1 lyrics were already borderline but goddamn this is some turbo trash.
Why the hell did Lorde's last album get so much hate, this album is really nice and comfy
always amazed at how great Pyramids is. I like channel Orange a lot but omg this song blows the majority of thr album away

kinda surprised you like a lot
just thought was alright but mid coming off borderline masterpiece Melodrama. i had high expectations
i think the different emotional tone plus awkward timing. she dropped her rich girl going to beaches and finding herself album during peak covid era. also songwriting just not as hard hitting to me as her previous and Antonoff production also doesnt work as well for me in that style
a few nice songs on it though id say

Can see why the content during the time would be uncomfortable for some but I really don't care if artists wanna talk about their better lifestyle if that's what they wanna talk about
I like it more than Melodrama by a fair bit, never got into that one really. Pure Heroine still her masterpiece though

Album is so much better than Blonde. But of course he created a mysterious mystique with that album and people clinged onto it despite the boring ass music

def agree, Pyramids, Bad Religion and Pink Matter alone are better than anything on Blonde but I've grown to like the album over the years.

I think blonde is fine up to Nights before it completely loses focus in a jumble of half-songs and melatonin music.
Ivy, Nights, Self Control are fantastic

Yep and also Pink Matter

Solar Power sounds a lot like George Michael's Freedom '90 (imo his best song) to a point it almost comes off as a cover. Stoned At The Nail Salon's chorus rips off Lana Del Rey's Hope Is A Dangerous Thing For A Woman Like Me To Have. At least that's what bothered me on first listen. However, I've grown to like it a lot.
I guess people expected a singer-songwriter Dance Pop album in the vein of melodrama but Solar Power is far more focused on the singer songwriter aspect of her music. It's also lacking the arrangement idiosyncrasies of her past albums. Then, it's a different style
Also, Billie Eilish took her place
