I was watching some skate videos from the late 90s/early 00s the other day something def got lost in the transition to digital photography

right haha you watch some of those old camcorder videos of live shows especially with punk and metal.. it just feels more alive I guess. Like only 1 guy had the camera and everyone else is just going off.

The pro shot stuff had heart too

That’s probably what it is, the grain gives it a more lived in feeling. Seeing Black Flag live in the 80s would’ve been so rad.

One of my favorite discoveries in recent memory. I’d already heard Duncan Browne’s 70’s singer/songwriter record and enjoyed that, but there’s something to this late 60’s medieval themed folk album that speaks to me even more. It’s like the perfect cross section between Donovan and Nick Drake. Hauntingly beautiful.

still baffled at Social Network's reception. Gets worse each time I watch it. Fincher is a 90s and 00s director

Personally I'm not a huge fan of the Social Network either, like I get it.. but its certainly not one of my favs.

idk if I would put it at 27 but I like Adaptation

Gone Girl too like both movies are cool but Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is much better.
