I really love all things must pass so much. My parents were not beatles heads for whatevr reason so i didnt get them on car rides. So im coming to all things must pass as a 30 year old and its like...holy fuxking s*** is this the album of the life?
yeah I didn't hear a peep of the Beatles, Stones, Zeppelin or Dylan from my parents. was fun to discover them on my own. heard a ton of Neil, Van and Floyd and it was equally fun to dive even deeper into bands who were deeply engrained in my psyche.
The lyrics are so wonderful on the record. The general theme of life going on and taking it as it comes and appreciating the beauty of the experience. Its simple special. I need to read more about george in the beatles-was he pitching these songs near the end? Like run of the mill....no thanks we'll do dig a pony instead???
I feel like some of it was definitely George just saving gems for his own eventual solo album. if anything he picked some of the weakest from his backlog to throw on Let It Be.
This photo is wonderful if its real and not ai. Two guys who knew what it was all really about
I was apprehensive about ai at first too just cause I figured I wouldve seen the pic but no theres more from that night

All things must pass is a really wonderful album, its basically perfect until the wanky jams on the 3rd lp. Spector is really him the production is so expansive
damn i didnt know Spector was on that, been like 10 years since i listened though
why French films always dryer than a Bedouin males toe nails
I seen 2 Godard films and they both were boring as hell. dont tell rasie though thats his goat

I like a good amount of French stuff but yeah its like in general they took boring to his highest level of art form. I always suspect its my bias against them for forcing me to learn French but idk. even hearing them speak french kinda sucks compared to the music I can hear in like every other countries language.

I figured
nobody just says Elvis if they mean Costello. even brits apparently.
however my dad did introduce me to Costello and I still think This Years Model is a 10/10 album. I pretty well had to reintroduce my dad to Presley... and Dylan. he always disregarded them but then I showed him some gems.
I haven’t seen The Passion since the theater but this scene was always spooky for me. I wanna see what Mel cooks up for The Passion 2
Whats what about
bringing the mystery man home

I haven’t seen it since it came out either, but I remember it feeling like a horror movie at some parts :datass:
What’s the sequel even gonna be about?
