Yeah still a fair share of filmmakers under 60 better or around same level as Zahler (Nolan, Shyamalan, Bong Joon ho, James Gray, Hamaguchi, Jia Zhangke, etc)

But Zahler is fantastic and could be an all time great if he actually got proper funding

Honestly it has so many weird flaws it's skippable. Nicole Kidmans terrible plastic surgery alone is too anachronistic for me to ignore.
