yeah his first reaction was the right one

dude was on such defence mode for Cameron in the Avatar thread that he couldn't reply to anybody hating without accusing them of being a smooth brain that just like trash blockbusters like Dune, Marvel and Star Wars I had to pull up receipts for him giving Dune and Star Wars excellent reviews and scores over the years. blatant edge lord just yapping.

I haven’t seen TLJ since it dropped, but I remember it being pretty damn inventive compared to Episodes 7 and 9

yeah its definitely a top 3 Star Wars for me. has one or two segments that could've been better but still blows 7 and especially 9 away. might be the best looking SW flick and is definitely the funniest. lots of good expectation subverting.

The Last Jedi is easily the best sequel film albeit with many issues. The reaction to it revealed bigger issues in our society tho

ill admit the joking around on the bridge of a star destroyer is the one scene that took a bit for me to warm up to, just cause those scenes are traditionally super serious in tone. or at least have humor buried deep under s*** like Vader force choking his own generals to death in front of the nervous new guy who just got promoted lol but the rest was always funny.

Kylo/Hux scenes are priceless. Adam Driver in general was such a spazz he was perfect.

Domhnall Gleeson did an excellent space Hitler and this scene was amazing
