Both of them got interrupted by long vacations and I just never picked them up once I got back. botw had a few very annoying aspects bugging me back then but apparently the dlc has fixed them so I'm replaying it asap.

Yeah going backwards to that after Fallout 3 and Oblivion was tough but I got extremely into it.. had pages of notes I had to take to get f***ing anything done in that game.

From what I understand, it's less story driven than 1? I just love the atmosphere of 1, the hub is beautiful. Isn't 2 just a hyper focus on every idea they can muster out of their system

Yeah story is irrelevant, relentlessly creative gameplay the highlight. Been too long since i played either to remember the difference in atmosphere.

I havent played any of that s*** so in my mind Mario Sunshine is still the peak
