The lyrics in the first couple mins mirror his grandma verses in "Micheline" nicely. It's probably just Koz retreading the same material for the 30th time cause of his old man rambling style, but it was still nice to hear a sort of continuation of those memories in a similar order to the grandma ones

Saw a black bear with my cousins in PA once at night and we hoofed it the f*** outta there

I mean not like redwoods but yeah big ass trees for sure. Black bears are no threat really. We're used to walking right past them in my town. We have a whole family living in the bush next to my house and watched the two cubs grow up. More scared of us than we are of them. It's the brown bears and the odd grizzly in the bush you gotta be worried about.
